William Denby's Obituary
William Denby Sr., aged 79, died Thursday, April 18, 2019 at the Mike Conley Hospice House in Clermont, Florida following a brief illness.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Delores Crosby Denby; his daughter, Linda (Steve) Crouse, his son, Earl Denby, Jr., daughter, Rene Denby Abrams, granddaughter, Courtney (Tiffany) Davis, two grandsons, Christopher & Nicholas Denby, granddaughter, Makyla Denby, grandsons, Earl III, Nate, and Alex Denby, granddaughter Christine Abrams, grandson Andrew Abrams, sister, Marsha (Bill) Bryant, several nieces, nephews, 8 great grandchildren and close friends. He is preceded in death by his son, Richard Denby.
Born April 2, 1940, in Lennox, Cook County, Georgia, his parents Allen and Ethel Denby moved their family to Holopaw ,Florida. In 1951, the family relocated to Leesburg, Florida until 1977, when he moved his family to Lady Lake, Florida.
William drove different types of delivery trucks in the Central Florida area, the last position he held prior to retirement was with Besco Electric Supply & Co., Leesburg. After retiring, William couldn't relax and found a part time job with Skybolt Aerospace Fasteners, Leesburg where he worked until he turned ill.
William was passionate about his family, his country, Gator football, his church and he had a love for his dog Tiny. He took pride in everything he attempted to do in his lifetime.
