Virginia T. Jones' Obituary
Virginia T. Jones, age 90 passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2014. Virginia was born June 4, 1924 in Herkimer, New York to Albert and Florence Tyler. In 1961, she and her husband moved with their family to Tampa, Florida and then to Leesburg in 1990. In Leesburg, she found many wonderful friends who loved and supported her through her remaining years. Virginia loved gardening, sewing and crafts of all kinds, but especially she loved her dear dog, Schatzie. In 2006, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Everett Jones. She is survived by her Son: Douglas Jones and his wife, Luanne, of Tallahassee, Florida; her Daughter: Pamela Duke and her husband, John, of Windermere, Florida; and her Granddaughter: Emily Jones of Tallahassee. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 12:00 PM at Page-Theus Funeral Home in Leesburg with a visitation to take place from 11:00 AM till the hour of service. The proceedings will be presided over by Pastor David Rosenau of the St. Mark Lutheran Church where Virginia attended services.
