Sylvia Levonia Warfield's Obituary
Sylvia Levonia Warfield, 81, of The Villages passed away Sunday, March 5, 2017. Mrs. Warfield was born August 10, 1935 in Brooklyn, NY to Johnnie and Naomi Ruth (Martin-Moore) Walker. She was a retired ESL teacher moving here in 2012 from Denver, PA. She was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Lancaster, PA and attended First Baptist Church of Wildwood. She was involved with her church and was on the Usher committee and she helped with decorating the church for the many functions that they had. She enjoyed doing puzzles, needlepoint and other crafts. Survivors include her loving husband of 46 years, Earl; children, Nicole M. Warfield of Altamonte Springs and Marc Arlington Warfield of Madrid, Spain; brother, Norman Walker of Lancaster, PA and her grand-dog, Dooney. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00pm, Monday, March 13, 2017 in the funeral home. Funeral services will be 1:00pm, Tuesday, March 14, 2017 in the Banks/Page-Theus Chapel, Wildwood with interment following the service in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Leesburg.
