Sarah Whitten Odell's Obituary
Sarah Whitten Odell, 85, went to be with the Lord on Sunday 25-Feb-2018 at the Ogeechee Area Hospice in Statesboro Georgia. Sarah was born December 9, 1932 in Harpersville, Alabama, the daughter of Carson and Zelma Whitten. She was united in marriage to James Robert Odell on March 9, 1958 in Birmingham Alabama. She was preceded in death by her loving husband James on February 18, 1999.
Sarah is survived by her loving children and their spouses; Dennis Ray Odell and Melissa Crebbs Odell of Destrehan Louisiana, Andrew Whitten Odell and Pamela Ewing Odell of Raleigh North Carolina; Grandchildren Gordon Odell, Noah Odell, Caleb Odell, Shawn Odell and Amber Odell King; Great Grandchildren Zander Odell, Aurora Odell, Alyssa King and Branson King; Sister Pat Mack of Columbia SC and Brother Grady Whitten of Four Mile AL.
A Graveside Service will be held for Mrs. Odell on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at 1:00pm at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Leesburg Florida with Brother Gary Blanchard officiating. In lieu of Flowers Memorial Donations may be made to Ogeechee Area Hospice, PO Box 531, Statesboro, Georgia 30459. Online condolences may be shared by visiting www.pagetheusfuneral.com.
