Owen Rashford Henry, Sr., 75 Leesburg, FL went to be with the Lord on November 23, 2014 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Henry was born on August 13, 1939 in Jamaica, West Indies to his parents Aaron Nathaniel Henry and Epsie Elizabeth (Coley) Henry. Mr. Henry was an Engineer in the Medical Equipment Business. He moved to the area 5 years ago from Mohegan Lake, New York and was of the Baptist faith. He was a member of the Democratic Club and the African-American Heritage Club both of the Plantation at Leesburg. He is survived by his loving children: Sharon Wiltshire of Perth Amboy, NJ, Samantha Henry of Snellville, GA and Owen Henry, Jr. of Phoenix, AZ; two brothers: Melton Henry and wife Judith of Orlando, FL and Claude Henry of Jamaica, W.I.; two sisters: Evadne Tsolo and husband Don of Leesburg, FL and Avis Williams of Jamaica, W.I.; two grandchildren: Andrew Wiltshire and Nicole Wiltshire and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 11:00AM at Page-Theus Funeral Home, Leesburg, FL. with inurnment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Leesburg, FL.
