Julia Rosario Padilla, 65, Bronx, New York passed away on May 29, 2014 in the Bronx, NY. Julia was born on July 30, 1948 in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico to her parents Evangelista Rosario and Julia Rondon Rosario. Mrs. Padilla was a Registered Nurse and Administrator for Hudson Valley Blood Services in New York. She was a lifetime resident of the Bronx, NY. She was of the Catholic faith and a member of Cursigitas, Spanish American Club of The Villages and the New York State Nurses Association. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years: Elvin Padilla of the Bronx, NY; her mother: Julia Leon Rondon DeSoler; four brothers: Efrain Rosario, Ray Rosario, David Rosario and Jaime Rosario; three sisters: Margie Rosario Guzman, Norma Luisa Rosario Guzman and Luza Delia Rosario; many loving nieces and nephews. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Monday, June 9, 2014 at 10:00AM at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church, The Villages, FL with Interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Leesburg, FL.
