Gus A. Kovacs' Obituary
Gus A. Kovacs, 88, of Wildwood passed away Monday, October 26, 2015 under the care of his loving wife and Cornerstone Hospice. Mr. Kovacs was born August 8, 1927 in Trenton, NJ to Gustave and Elizabeth (Custer) Kovacs. Gus was a U.S. Navy, WWII Veteran. He was a retired steel worker and moved here in 1983 from PA. Gus had his pilot license and enjoyed flying small planes, reading and observing nature. Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Della; children, Brian Lee Kovacs (Min) of NJ, Wendy Lee Sienkiewicz (Scott) of PA and Sharon Lee Keough (Ken) of Wildwood; brother, Ron Kovacs; sister, Betty Pater; 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by daughter, Cheryl Lee Kovacs. A graveside service will be held in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens mausoleum chapel.
