Gaetan Blanchard's Obituary
Gaetan Blanchard of Leesburg, Florida passed away on Friday, August 18, 2017 at the
age of 79 years. He was born in Taschereau, Quebec, Canada. He and his wife,
Aldegonda, moved to Leesburg in 2006 from Denver, Colorado. Gaetan worked as a
carpenter building residential homes and retired in 2005. He was a member of Saint Paul
Catholic Church Community in Leesburg. Gaetan is remembered and will be dearly
missed by his wife of 58 years, Gonny; son and daughter-in-law, Dan and Carla Blanchard
of Lafayette, Colorado; son, Rick Blanchard of Ft. Myers, Florida; son and daughter-in-law,
Larry and Kathy Blanchard of Brighton, Colorado; daughter and son-in-law, Diane and
Mark Wilkins of Milford, Michigan; sisters and brothers-in-law, Claudette and John
LaFontaine of North Bay, Ontario and Nicole and Richard Monderie of Rouyn, Quebec;
and 13 grandchildren, Chantalle, Cassandra, Andrew, Britteny, Matthew, Luke, Alana,
Jessie, Travis, Zack, Joshua, J.T. and Tyler.
Mass is scheduled for Monday, August 21, 2017 at 8:30 am at St. Paul Catholic Church in
Leesburg. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared on the tribute wall.
