Douglas William "Doug" Aldrich's Obituary
Douglas William “Doug” Aldrich, 68, Leesburg, Florida went to be with the Lord on
September 11, 2017 at his residence in Leesburg, Florida. Mr. Aldrich was born on April
18, 1949 in Defiance, Ohio to his parents Joseph Decker Aldrich and Mary (Hamill)
Aldrich. He was a retired Contractor in the Telecommunications Industry. He moved to
Leesburg in 1959 from Ohio and was a graduate of Leesburg High School Class of 1968.
Doug proudly served his country in the US Army and was of the Christian faith. Doug
volunteered and supported the Leesburg High School Athletic Department. His memory
will be cherished by his loving sister: Rhonda (Michael) Thomas of West Melbourne, FL;
three brothers: Jack Aldrich of Casselberry, FL, David Aldrich of Pensacola, FL and Randy
(Julie) Aldrich of Merritt Island, FL. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on
Thursday, September 21, 2017 at 7:00pm at Trinity Assembly of God Church, Fruitland
Park, FL. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, September 22, 2017 at 10:00AM at
Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Leesburg, FL. Online condolences may be shared
by visiting www.pagetheusfuneral.com. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to
Leesburg Booster Club or First Academy Athletic Department, Leesburg. Arrangements
are entrusted to Page-Theus Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Leesburg.
