Obituary for Daisy Evon Stallings, 94, Leesburg, FL went to be with the Lord on November 25, 2013 under the loving care of her family and staff of Cornerstone Hospice in Leesburg, FL. Mrs. Stallings was born on January 25, 1919 in Meridian, Mississippi to her parents Obee Otis Thayer and Alice Drucilla (Bethea) Thayer. Mrs. Stallings and her husband moved to Leesburg in 1958 from Tampa. After Rev. Stallings passed away she spent many years involved with Friends of the Library in Leesburg. She is survived by her two loving daughters: Linda (Charles) Sellars and Cheryl Stallings both of Leesburg, FL; five grandchildren: Chuck Sellars, Darrell Sellars, Brady Sellars, Russell Sellars and Chrystal Fidler; fourteen great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; she was preceded in death by her late husband Rev. Dewey Stallings. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 29, 2013 at 11:00AM at Page-Theus Funeral Home, Leesburg Chapel with visitation to be held prior to service from 10:00AM till the hour of service at the funeral home.
