Charles F. Rizo's Obituary
Charles Francis Riso, 79, Groveland, Florida passed away on May 5, 2016 at Ocala
Regional Medical Center in Ocala, Florida. Mr. Riso was born on April 17, 1937 in
Chicago, Illinois to his parents Marion Gayton Riso and Virince (Venti) Riso. Mr. Riso was
a former Finance Manager for Allstate Insurance Company. He and his wife Gerry moved
to Central Florida 11 years ago from Bedford, Virginia. He was of the Catholic faith and
were members of St. Paul Catholic Church, Leesburg, FL. He enjoyed sailing model boats
and flying model airplanes and prior to his health declining liked to play golf. He was a
member of the Royal Highlands Yacht Club and Pear Park Pilots Club. He is survived by
his loving wife of 49 years: Gerry Riso of Groveland, FL; a sister: Marian Riso of
Summerfield, FL and several loving nieces and nephews. The family has requested
donations to be made to either The American Heart Association or The American Cancer
Society in his loving memory. Arrangements are entrusted to Page-Theus Funeral Home,
Leesburg, Florida.
