Betty Elizabeth Barr's Obituary
Betty E. Barr, 86, Leesburg, Florida went to be with the Lord on October 29, 2017 and
Heaven is rejoicing. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Barr and her
beloved dog, Boo-Boo. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, George
(Fidel) Minton, Candy (Roger) Goodrich, Marilyn (Joe) Codispoti, Danny (Kathy) Minton as
well as seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She loved the Lord and was
a member of the First Baptist Church of Leesburg. Betty led a fulfilling life and owned a
restaurant called Betty’s Restaurant in South Florida for many years as well as a
neighborhood grocery store called Powell’s Market. She was also a Real Estate Broker
and her last career was working as a Nurse. She traveled the world and enjoyed going to
different countries. Her greatest joy was her family and her passion was playing BINGO!
There will be a viewing on Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 12:00PM (Noon) till 1:30PM
at Page-Theus Funeral Home with a Funeral Service immediately following the Visitation
at 1:30PM at the Funeral Home with Interment at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In
lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Christian Care Center of First Baptist Church
of Leesburg in Betty’s loving memory. Online condolences may be shared by visiting
