“The service for laying to rest Paul and Lydia Steinke was beautiful. From the flowers, the set up of the items Lydia created and photos were so touching. Susan did a beautiful job arranging these details and the catered lunch was very much appreciated. The inurnment was so touching and the grounds is stunning. Susan cares about her family’s and that shows in her attention to detail. I would highly recommend her services.”

“Our family recently held the interment of my husband’s grandparents at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful and meaningful experience. Susan Culver planned the interment with so much care and attention to every detail. Susan is truly a godly woman, and you can see that her work comes from a place of genuine compassion for the families she serves. She understands that this is so much more than making arrangements or choosing a final resting place. For her, it is about honoring a person’s life, comforting the people who love them, and helping families find peace in knowing their loved one has been laid to rest in the arms of God. “I would like to take a moment to share my sincere appreciation for Crystal and the exceptional care and compassion she has shown to me and my family. When I needed to find a memorial marker for my mother, it was very important for me to find something similar to the marker we placed on my father’s grave more than 40 years ago at the cemetery in Ocala. Finding a marker that would complement his and honor my mother in a similar way was especially meaningful to me, since she is being laid to rest next to him. Crystal took the time to listen to what I was looking for and understood why having a marker like my father’s was so important to me. She was helpful throughout the entire process and worked with me to find a memorial that I feel truly honors my mother. She even helped me find a squirrel emblem, which was a special detail that meant a lot to me. Her understanding, patience, and attention to detail made a difficult and emotional process much easier. What has meant just as much to me is that Crystal has continued to help my husband and me with planning for our own future needs. Pre-planning can be difficult to think about, but Crystal has approached the process with kindness, respect, and understanding. Rather than making us feel pressured, she has taken the time to explain our options and answer all of our questions. From helping me find the right memorial for my mother to helping my husband and me prepare for our own future, Crystal has been there every step of the way. Her compassion, patience, professionalism, and genuine concern have made a lasting impression on me and my family. “Susan was instrumental in helping me with both my parents inurnment a year ago in the Cremation Garden. I visited their spot and it is looking so beautiful still! I am so thankful I chose Hillcrest. The graveside service so beautiful and went so smoothly. Even though they passed away years earlier this gave our family such closure that we didn't know we needed. So affordable as well since my parents did not pre=plan. I trusted Susan with my pre=needs and I highly recommend her!”
